After Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray, now environment minister Aditya Thackeray has also decided not to celebrate his birthday. 

He has also posted a message to all his followers in his official Facebook account. Aditya Thackeray's birthday is on June 13 and Raj Thackeray's birthday is on June 14. Both of them have decided not to celebrate their birthdays in view of the rising coronavirus cases in the state.

Aditya Thackeray said in the letter, "Today, not only Maharashtra but the entire world is battling the COVID-19 crisis. For the last 2-3 months, we have been fighting this crisis together and while fighting this, we all have one goal, to eradicate the virus from our country.On June 13 which is my birthday. I have decided not to celebrate and request all my followers to bless and wish me from wherever they are. I urge all Shiv Sainiks, friends and followers to put aside the cost of hoardings, garlands, cakes and spend it on needy people amid the crisis or donate it to the Chief Minister's Assistance Fund. Let's follow the rules and cooperate with the administration."
