Sunetra Pawar said that her family is not limited to Parth and Jay, but that the entire Baramati constituency is her extended family, and every resident is a valued member of it. She assured party workers that she would dedicate her life to the development and welfare of this larger family. Addressing concerns after the sudden demise of Ajit Pawar, she acknowledged that many workers were disheartened but urged them not to worry. She promised that no worker would be left unsupported and that Ajit Pawar’s popular “Janata Darbar” initiative would continue. Completing people’s work, she said, would be the true tribute to his legacy and vision.
Speaking at a party gathering in Baramati before filing her nomination for the by-election, Sunetra Pawar also addressed concerns regarding safety and law and order in the region. She stated that after Ajit Pawar’s passing, many people were uncertain about the future, especially regarding security. However, she reassured citizens that Baramati’s identity as a safe and secure place, built during Dada’s leadership, would remain intact. She firmly declared that hooliganism, extortion, and illegal activities would not be tolerated under any circumstances. Instructions would be given to the administration to further strengthen law enforcement, ensuring that residents have no reason to feel anxious.
