Beed MP Bajrang Sonwane Claims 109 Unidentified Bodies Found in Parli, Police Deny Murder Allegations

Following the brutal murder of Santosh Deshmukh, the sarpanch of Massajog in Beed district of Maharashtra, various claims regarding the crime have emerged. One such claim, made by Beed MP Bajrang Sonwane, has raised eyebrows. Sonawane alleged that 109 unidentified bodies were found in Parli.

Sonawane's statement comes amid heightened tensions in the Beed district. He stated that while the murder of Mahadev Munde was unfortunate, there are several cases that have come to light, including the discovery of 109 bodies in Parli. He mentioned that there was no clear explanation for these deaths—whether they were due to murder, heart attacks, accidents, or other causes. However, he claimed that these bodies had been cremated without any further investigation. Sonawane also suggested that the local politics might be supporting such incidents.

Sonwane further stated that the issue in Beed district is not related to caste, but to a trend of hooliganism and corruption that creates an atmosphere of fear. He called for action against those responsible for these activities.

In response, the police have clarified that it is not always possible to immediately determine if a death is the result of a murder. When sudden deaths occur, the police conduct thorough investigations and record statements from witnesses and those involved. Only after a detailed inquiry do they reach conclusions. Superintendent of Police Sachin Pandkar stated that the 109 bodies found in Parli over the last year were not the result of murders but rather accidental deaths, urging people not to believe in rumors.
