Beed Shocker: 40-Year-Old Woman Dies by Suicide After Jumping From Third Floor

Maharashtra:  A disturbing incident occurred in Beed were a, 40-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the third floor of a residential building in Beed. This incident occurred on Saturday at 8am in Mandwa Road area in Ambajogai.

Deceased identified as Vaishali Sunil Chikatkar was living in her rented apartment with her family to facilitate the education of her two children. She allegedly jumped from the third floor and died on the spot. At the time of the incident further probe is underway.

In Pune a phone addiction specially among the teen has become concern for the parents. A 16-year-old girl took extreme step after her  her father checked her mobile phone. She consumed poison on March 17, 2026. This incident occurred at Jadhavwadi in Chikhali, she died during the treatment on March 22, 2026.

The student who committed suicide has been identified as Pratiksha Anil Gaikwad. According to Senior Inspector Vitthal Salunke of the Chikhali Police Station, Pratiksha's father checked her mobile phone on March 17. Nothing objectionable was found in the device.

However, driven by the distress caused by her father checking her phone, Pratiksha consumed poison inside her home around 9:00 PM on the same day. As soon as her family members realized what had happened, she was immediately rushed to a hospital.
