Pimpri-Chinchwad city BJP president and MLA Mahesh Landge and his wife are reported to have tested Covid-19 positive.

The BJP leader and his wife tested positive for the virus today and are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chinchwad.

Bhosari MLA Landge is in charge of the city BJP. For the past few days, he has been out in the open meeting people. Opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis was on a city tour when Landge was with him. He had visited the YCM Hospital which has been dedicated to COVID patients treatment.

MLA Landge was not feeling well and his throat fluid samples were examined. His reports have been positive. Now people in his close contacts are being quarantined

Besides, MLA Landge had also held discussions with the officials of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). The meeting was held in the cabin of PCMC Commissioner Shravan Hardikar.
