CIDCO announces mass housing scheme for 5,000 houses in Navi Mumbai

The dream of the people of affordable housing to get a house in Navi Mumbai is about to come true. CIDCO will start lottery process for 5,000 houses in Navi Mumbai. State Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde has given this information. The houses will be located at Kalamboli, Taloja and Dronagiri in Navi Mumbai.

In Navi Mumbai, CIDCO has a 'Mahagrihanirman' scheme of five thousand houses. Under this Gharkul scheme, houses will be available at Ghansoli, Kharghar, Kalamboli, Taloja and Dronagiri for the citizens of low income group. The lottery process for these houses will start from January 2022, said Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde.

Discussions are underway by MHADA for the release of new houses. So, CIDCO has announced that the lottery process for 5,000 houses will start in the new year. There is likely to be a huge response from those awaiting home purchase.
