A 61-year-old and a 40-year-old with comorbid conditions who had tested positive for COVID-19 passed away in Pune on Thursday night. The death toll in Pune district has risen to 63, said Health Officials, Pune. 

A total of 6,430 COVID-19 positive cases have been reported from Maharashtra. 789 of the patients have been cured while 283 have lost their lives due to coronavirus in the state.

A total of 23,077 confirmed cases have been reported in India. 4,748 people have recovered from the deadly disease, said the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
