In wake of a continuous surge in COVID-19 cases, Maharashtra government has announced a night curfew in Panvel. 

The night curfew comes into effect from March 12-March 22. 

The night curfew will be from 11 pm to 5 am every night. School, colleges and coaching classes are also shut. However, Class 10 and 12 will remain open as board exams are around the corner.

Yesterday, the Thackeray government had imposed night curfew in Kalyan Dombivli and Nandurbar.
