Maharashtra continues to report highest daily new COVID-19 cases with 31,643 in the last 24 hours, followed by Punjab and Karnataka. As many as 5,888 new COVID-19 cases were found in Mumbai while 3,561 patients were discharged today. The recovery rate in Mumbai is 85 per cent.

Amid the rising coronavirus, the state government has imposed night curfew across the state from 8 pm to 7 am to curb the spread of the disease.

However the decision created panic among the citizens, they had question if the Mumbai local train services will function as normal or will there be a change in its schedule as well?

Soon the railway authorities cleared the confusion that the local train services will remain unaffected. Mumbai local trains will run as per schedule even during the night curfew hours, said, the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM).

Maharashtra Chief Minister recently warned the citizen saying that the COVID cases are rising in state because people are not following guidelines seriously and that is why strict steps like lockdown need to be considered.
