In order to stop the spread of first wave of corona a complete lockdown was imposed in the country. It was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who announced the national lockdown. As a result, everything from small businesses to large companies came to a standstill. The lockdown impacted the country's economy.

The country was slowly on the path of recovery when it was hit by the second wave of Corona. The second wave is said to be the deadliest as it has penetrated in the rural parts of India. Therefore, Shiv Sena has asked the question, who will give oxygen to this rural economy?

The picture created by the second wave of the corona is disturbing. The rural economy that saved the country's economy in the first wave has now been hit hard due to the second wave. Agriculture, agricultural production and farmers are the backbone of India's economy. If it falls in the second wave of the corona, who will give oxygen to the economy ?, asked Shiv Sena through it's mouthpiece Saamna. Corona has entered rural areas of the country and disrupted rural life.

There is a severe shortage of oxygen, injections, beds and medical facilities in rural areas and many are coming forward for help. Strict restrictions have been imposed in the state for the last one and a half months. As a result, many have lost their jobs. At present, the struggle is only for survival. Many states, including Maharashtra, have once again faced lockdown, posing a major economic crisis for the country..

The second wave of corona which has hit the rural areas, ha impacted the rural economy, including food production and distribution. Therefore, there is a risk of inflation in the country's food sector. If the crisis continues, India will have to import foodgrains and this will affect the price of foodgrains in the world market, fears are now being expressed by the knowledgeable congregations.

From Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Gujarat to West Bengal, the second wave of corona has wreaked havoc in every state. From large metropolises, cities, districts and talukas to small villages corona has spread everywhere. The second wave is more dangerous than the first wave of Covid and every day the cases are increasing. Corona's second wave is also pushing the economy to the brink of collapse.
