Devendra Fadnavis on E-pass: Maha govt not taking decisions and confused on many fronts

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Opposition BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis in a fresh attack on Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government over many issues and said that the government is confused on many fronts.

The BJP leader was speaking to media persona when he made the remark. On being asked about e-pass need for travel, he said that there is contradiction and confusion in the decision-making of the state government.

"The state government is not implementing decisions taken by the Centre including regarding transportation of people. The justification for e-pass is over. In fact, there have been so many memes on it."

He also said that the government should soon take a decision on it. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Sunday said, “As per the discussions held with Hon’ble CM, the existing MissionBeginAgain guidelines will be in effect in Maharashtra, till any further announcement.”

Which means a person needs to get an e-pass from the state government for intra-state travel in case of emergency and unavoidable situation.
