While criticizing Thackeray government and NCP president Sharad Pawar over reservation for Dhangar Community, BJP MLC Gopichand Padalkar said Pawar is like 'Corona' for Maharashtra. 

Meanwhile, the former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has reacted th Padalkar's statement. While reacting to Padalkar's statement Devendra Fadnavis said, "Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar is our political opponent, not enemy. Therefore, it is not appropriate to use such language to criticize a political leader. I have spoken to Gopichand Padalkar about this and he admitted that he made a mistake and it was a tongue slip. He will give soon give an explanation regarding his statement."
