Gold bangle excavated near Raigad fort, Sambhaji Raje shares pic

A historical treasure has been dug up from the Raigad fort. Excavation has been going on in this forested area for the last few years for various reasons. The land here is being excavated using mechanical tools. These excavations have uncovered many rare and ancient artifacts. The importance of the ongoing excavation at Durgaraj Raigad by the Raigad Authority came to the fore again today. An ancient gold bracelet has been found in the excavation here.MP Sambhaji Raje expressed happiness while giving out information about the found. Sambhaji Raje also shared photos of this bangle from his Facebook account. He wrote,"The importance of the ongoing excavation at Durgaraj Raigad by the Raigad Authority came to the fore again today. Excavations carried out by the authority on the fort so far have yielded items such as utensils, coins, various types of houses. But an excavation two days ago found an ancient precious bracelet made of gold. In this way, various ornaments along with many historical objects can be found in the excavations. This will help in understanding the living style, culture and architecture of the fort. Also, where these items are found, it will be of great help to understand the real significance and information of the place. The excavations currently underway at the fort are being carried out by the Archaeological Survey of India, and it is in these excavations that these objects were found. The Archaeological Department should be commended for this achievement."
