In 27 villages near Kalyan-Dombivli city of Thane district are facing water crisis. A few days back, corporator Sunita Patil had expressed her displeasure over water scarcity in the twin city.At present, water tankers have to be brought to deal with scarcity. Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation corporator and former deputy mayor Moreshwar Bhoir also had to bring water tanker to his house due to the scarcity. A photo of Bhoir filling a tanker with water-pipe has gone viral on social media.

If this is the situation of the people's representatives in the city, then what will the common citizens do? The MIDC and KDMC administrations have been pointing fingers at each other and the citizens are also done with doing agitations and rallies. During the Corona period, people are struggling for water and the people's representatives in the area have also been affected.

The people's representatives have to buy water tanker, a dire situation has arisen in rural areas. Meanwhile, where will ordinary citizens get money to buy water tankers frequently? citizens questioned. The Corona crisis has already shaken the economy of the people and they have to suffer a lot for water.
