As counting got underway for the Maharashtra civic body elections, Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC on Friday dismissed exit polls as only a 'trailer' and said the real picture would emerge within hours. "The exit polls are just a trailer. The results will be out in two hours. The public has decided the mandate for 29 municipal corporations on the basis of development and Eknath Shinde’s work of progress," Shaina NC said.Taking a swipe at Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, she said political outcomes are shaped by voters, not narratives. "Uddhav Thackeray should change his scriptwriter and find some other excuse. The verdict of loss and win is decided by the public. The message is clear -- opportunities belong to those who work on the ground, and those who work from home are made to stay at home," she added.
