Rohit Shetty House Firing: Mumbai Crime Branch Reveals Shocking Details About Second Shooter

Fresh revelations have emerged in the firing incident outside filmmaker and director Rohit Shetty’s residence, as the Mumbai Crime Branch intensifies its probe into the sensational case. Following the arrest of the second shooter, Pradeep Kumar, from Agra on Thursday, investigators have uncovered crucial details about his role in the crime.

According to the investigation, Pradeep was not merely a conspirator but was actively present at the scene during the incident. He allegedly played a key role in executing the attack and ensured that the plan was carried out as intended.

Police sources revealed that Pradeep not only participated in the conspiracy but also instigated the other accused — identified as Deepak, Sunny, and Sonu — to open fire continuously. He is said to have actively assisted in carrying out the firing and later helped the accused flee the spot.

Further investigation has revealed that after the incident, all the accused fled to Agra together and remained in hiding for a few days. However, fearing that the police might trace their location, Deepak, Sunny, and Sonu later escaped to Haryana, while Pradeep chose a different route and moved to Delhi, where he was hiding at his sister’s residence.

Crime Branch sources said that Pradeep kept changing his hideouts to evade arrest, which delayed his capture. He had recently returned to Agra from Delhi, whereupon the police, acting on technical surveillance and intelligence inputs, apprehended him.

Following his arrest, Pradeep was produced before a sessions court on Friday, which remanded him to police custody till April 27.
