The Kalyan-Dombivli civic body water supply department said the scheduled water cut will be imposed to take critical maintenance work, including the pumping station, water purification plants in Barave, Mohili, Netivali, and Titwala, which are not possible while the system is operational. The civic body urged citizens to store water in advance and use in judicially.
Affected Areas
Water supply disruptions in Kalyan city (East and West), Dombivli city (East and West), as well as Manda-Titwala, Vadavali, Ambivali, Shahad, Atali and adjoining villages in Kalyan Rural, will be affected.
Although supply will be restored at 8 pm, water is likely to be available at low pressure until Wednesday morning due to air pressure in the pipelines and scheduled distribution.
