Ladki Bahin Yojana E-KYC Deadline Extended; Know How To Update Details Before March 31

After receiving various complaints about the technical errors and incorrect data entry, Maharashtra government has extended the deadline for the e-KYC corrections. Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare, said that this will be the "final opportunity" for the beneficiaries to rectify mistakes in their applications to ensure uninterrupted benefits.

Earlier deadline for the completing the mandatory e-KYC process ended on December 31, 2025. Despite of this, number of women reported that even after being eligible for they were marked as ineligible, because of selecting wrong option. So to rectify the mistake Ladki Bahin Yojana e-KYC deadline has been pushed to March 31. 

Aditi Tatkare  on social media platform X stated that, the online portal has been reopened specifically for these corrections. "During the e-KYC process, complaints have been received that some beneficiaries have selected the wrong option, leading to difficulties in availing the benefits of the scheme. Especially for those eligible beneficiaries who have completed e-KYC but have not yet received the scheme's benefits, all such sisters are being given another opportunity to correct their e-KYC information."

Steps for Ladki Bahin e-KYC Correction

Woman who have not received their payments due to E-KYC errors can update their information by doing following steps before March 31. Go to portal, ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in. and login via registered mobile number and password. Click on E-KYC or update information tab and review your information like  adhaar number, income status, and bank details. Submit the form and verify the changes via the OTP sent to  your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and

Process for Distribution of January Month's instalment, Tatkare said that the process of disbursing the amount has began on February 23. Beneficiaries are likely to receive amount Rs. 1,500 in coming three to four days.  
The announcement brings relief to approximately 1.9 crore women enrolled in the scheme, following audits that removed about 62 lakh ineligible or duplicate entries from the initial 2.52 crore applicants.
