Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray announced Lockdown 4.0 in the state to curb the spread of coronavirus. The number of coronavirus cases in the state is increasing rapidly. On Monday the state crossed 35,000 mark in the covid-19 cases. 

Maharashtra remains the worst-hit state due to the coronavirus crisis in the country. On Monday morning, second day of Lockdown 4.0, a huge traffic jam was reported near Mumbai's Western Express Highway amid the lockdown enforced due to novel coronavirus pandemic.

A number of vehicles from four-wheelers to two-wheelers were seen struggling to get out from the jam after days of lockdown.

The visuals are disturbing as the cases in the country have already crossed one lakh mark.
