CM Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray took a review meeting with the Chief Secretary, Secretaries of relevant departments & BMC Municipal Commissioner to take stock of the situation. The review meeting fully adhered to social distancing, temperature check, sanitising & open air.

India has been put under complete lockdown for 21 days. All public transport have been banned while any kind of non-essential movement outside the house has also been prohibited.

In Maharashtra, the coronavirus has spread to around a dozen districts - one-third of the state's total - since the past couple of weeks. 

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases has crossed 600 mark in India.
