Maharashtra Minister of State for Home and IT Satej Patil on Tuesday informed that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

Taking to Twitter, he said he does not has any symptom and is undergoin treatment as per doctor's advice.

"I have tested positive for Covid-19 today. I do not have any symptoms and I am undergoing treatment as per the doctor's advice. With your prayers & blessings, I am confident I will soon be alright.," read Patil's tweet. 

Maharashtra has reported 20,46,287 coronavirus cases, the highest in the country. The active number of cases in Maharashtra stands at 34,720 till Thursday. The COVID death toll in the state mounted to 51,325.
