Inflation continues to rise, further straining the common man's budget. Already struggling with soaring prices, consumers now face another setback as the price of milk has increased by Rs 2 per litre, effective from today (March 15).

The decision to hike milk prices comes as inflation is affecting households across all sectors. On Wednesday, members of the Milk Producers and Processing Welfare Association held a meeting at the Pune District of Maha Rashtra Cooperative Milk Producers Association Limited (Katraj Dairy) to discuss the price hike. The decision was unanimously approved by 47 representatives from various cooperative and private dairy associations.
