Mumbai: Harbour Line train services in Mumbai faced disruptions on Wednesday after an empty local train derailed near Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CSMT) station. No injuries were reported in the incident, Central Railway confirmed. This incident comes just days after a local train coach skidded off the tracks at the same location on Monday.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mumbai local train services on the Harbour line section between CSMT and Vadala Road have been temporarily suspended. Passengers are advised to utilize the Mainline services between CSMT and Kurla stations in both Up and Down directions until further notice.Additionally, passengers traveling to Goregaon/Bandra on the Harbour Line are permitted to use the DDR Western Line services in both Up and Down directions. No harm was caused, as this train was the same which derailed two days back. Central Railway conducted the trial run after the repairments but it derailed, making it unsuccessful, as per the Central Railway PRO.
