On June 30, there was robbery & murder at a jewellery shop in Dahisar area. Three armed robbers opened fire in a jewellery shop, killed the owner and looted gold ornaments. 

Mumbai Police has arrested the accused within 12 hours, recovered 300 gms gold jewellery. The main conspirator is still at large, said Vishwas Nangre Patil,Jt CP, Mumbai City. The police managed to get the description of the accused and are caught them with the help of the CCTV footage cameras installed near the shop. 

Three scooter-borne men entered the shop located at Gawde Nagar and opened fire, an official said. The unidentified accused shot shop owner Vikas Pandey (46) in his head, killing him on the spot, and managed to collect all the jewellery they could find in two travel bags, he said. The accused fled in a grey scooter, whose number plate they had folded, the official said.
