Mumbai's Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Abhishek Trimukhe, who questioned Actress Rhea Chakraborty in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput's death cass, has tested coronavirus positive. 

The police investigation led by Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh and Abhishek Trimukhe in the actors death have raisde many questions. Many opposition leaders have also blamed the officers for causing procedural lapses in the case. 

The CBI had also met the DCP. According to sources, Bandra's DCP Abhishek Trimukhe along with his family have tested covid-19 positive.

An investigation into the call details revealed that Rhea Chakraborty had several call interactions with DCP over the phone after Sushant's death. In the Sushant Singh death case, Trimukhe was appointed by the Mumbai Police for co-ordination wtith the CBI. The Supreme Court had asked the Mumbai Police to hand over all the evidence collected in the case to the CBI.
