With 12 new COVID-19 cases reported in Dharavi on Monday, the total number of coronavirus cases in the area has reached 1,924.

"No deaths & 12 COVID-19 cases reported in Dharavi area of Mumbai today. Total number of cases in the area is now at 1924, including 71 deaths: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation ," Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.

As of Monday, Dharavi reported a total of 71 deaths due to coronavirus. It is regarded as Asia's biggest slum.
