Twenty more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Mumbai's Dharavi, taking the count to 1,984 on Wednesday, said an official of the city civic body.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official said two more deaths were recorded in the slum area, leaving the coronavirus fatality tally at 75.

With 1,567 new COVID-19 cases in Mumbai, the tally rose to 52,445 on Wednesday, while 97 more patients died, taking the toll to 1,855, the city civic body said.
