The whole country is following lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The lockdown has severely impacted many businesses and the daily lives of the citizens.

In the recent Unlock 3.0 announcement made by the Maharashtra government across the nation from August 5 many businesses, shops, offices, malls, shopping complexes were allowed to reopen.

However according to a report in TOI, all the malls that were reopened will remain closed from August 6 in Navi Mumbai.

As per the report, the malls were not following the safety measures and rules laid the government. Following which the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has issued an order to shut them down again.

According to the report, social distancing was not followed and guidelines issued by the NMMC were violated. Reportedly, many people even traveled from other cities to visit the reopened malls in Navi Mumbai. This increased crowding in the malls and the NMMC was forced to take action.
