The 'Varanasi model' is being promoted in the country to fight against covid-19. However, the attempt is now being made to cover up the incapability to fight covid, alleged Nawab Malik, the NCP's national spokesperson and minority minister.

The 'Varanasi model' has failed like the 'diagnostic model'. Therefore, stop promoting the Varanasi model, said Nawab Malik.
