One woman who returned from the United Kingdom, who arrived in Kalyan-Dombivali after December 9 has tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.

So far, 20 people have been tested for covid. The reports of seven of them have come negative. So one of them have tested positive. The patient who tested positive is a woman. Her report will now be sent to Pune after Mumbai. The health department of Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation has informed that the condition of the woman who tested positive is stable. The KDMC is awaiting the test reports that will come from Pune report and if the report is positive, Kalyan Dombivali region's concern might increase.Last week, the new strain of the coronavirus was first detected in the UK. As per the experts, this strain is more transmissible than other SARS-CoV-2 variants.
