Pune city mayor Mulridhar Mohol on Saturday tested positive for COVID-19."After having a fever I tested myself for COVID19 which turned out to be positive. However, I am stable will be soon available at your service. During treatment, I will be in contact with the administration and keep reviewing COVID-19 situation," Murlidhar Mohol tweeted .

Two days back, Mohol attended a review meeting with Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, CM advisor Ajoy Mehta, Health secretary Pradeep Vyas and other officials.

A day after the mayor tested positive, now it has been reported that six corporators including Deputy Mayor and Leader of Opposition have contracted coronavirus. 

Two MPs and four MLAs from Pune have quarantined themselves, but so far Pune Municipal Corporation employees have been tested COVID-19 positive

After Muralidhar Mohol was tested positive his family was also tested and it was found that 8 members of his family were also infected with corona.
