MNS chief Raj Thackeray on Friday hit out at Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, accusing it of not doing enough to provide relief to people hit by coronavirus pandemic in the state.

He said, during the coronavirus crisis, the state is pointing the fingers at the Centre, while the Centre is pointing the finger at the states. The citizens only expects from the government to save them from the pandemic. No one could have predicted the Coronavirus crisis, but this is not the time to criticize the government. Opposition parties have to act responsibly as both the governments have made mistakes but this was not the time for politics.

He also raised questioned on the tackling of the coronavirus situation in the state by the Uddhav Thackeray led government. Private hospitals are looting the citizens by charging them large amount bills but the state government has still not done anything concrete to stop these wrong practices.

When asked about his cousin Uddhav Thackeray's performance as a CM, the MNS chief said he had seen the Shiv Sena president "only on TV"."I could not see his work in the last four-and-a-half to five months," he added. The MNS chief further said,"that Shiv Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress alliance regime would "collapse" soon as there is no dialogue or coordination between the three parties. I don't want this government to collapse but it is a three-party government and it is important to have discussion and dialog within the party. But with the MVA government i don't see this happening.

Leader of the opposition party have claimed that Shiv Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress alliance regime would "collapse" on its own, owing to their internal contradictions."
