Ranjitsinh Disale, the first Indian teacher to receive the Global Teacher Award, has been appointed by the World Bank as a consultant. The appointment is for the period June 2021 to June 2024. The World Bank has launched a program called Global Coach to improve the quality of in-service training for teachers around the world.

The objectives are to increase the level of educational attainment of children around the world, to bring more coherence in the in-service training program for teachers around the world, to provide timely training to teachers, and to develop leadership qualities in teachers through training.

To achieve these goals, 12 individuals from around the world have been selected as consultants.

Through this committee, Ranjitsinh Disale said that he will strive to create 21st century teachers by creating technology-based training programs.

Disale, is the first Indian teacher to receive the Global Teacher Award. It has recently come to light that Scholarships will be given to students in Italy in the name of Disale.
