Director General of Civil Defence Rashmi Shukla has been deputed to the Centre. The Union Home Department has appointed her as the Additional Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and directed the state government to relieve Shukla immediately to enable her to take up her new assignments at the Centre.

Senior IPS officer Rashmi Shukla (MH:88) has been appointed as Additional Director General (ADG) in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on deputation basis from the date of joining and upto 30.6.2024 i.e. date of her superannuation or till further orders whichever is earlier.  

Shukla is the second highest ranking officer to be deputed from the Maharashtra Police to the Centre in the last one and a half months. Rashmi Shukla is a 1988 batch IPS officer.
