The Gandhi family is the Aadhar card of the Congress. Rahul Gandhi has the ability to lead the party. He possesses the qualities that can take the Congress to new height, 'said Shiv Sena leader, MP Sanjay Raut .

He was speaking at a press conference in Mumbai. If there is a demand for someone from outside the Gandhi family to lead the Congress, it does not seem conducive in the current situation. At present, no one outside the Gandhi family looks capable enough lead the Congress party. Rahul Gandhi has leadership potential. It is because of his leadership that the Congress came to power in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, 'Raut claimed.

Raut refrained from commenting directly on the internal affairs of the Congress. If there are some inner-party issues in the CWC Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting then it is their internal issue.

In fact, the Congress is still the main opposition party in the country. However, its strength has waned. The party is in disarray. It needs to recover. The party needs to move forward by resolving it'sinternal differences, 'said Raut.
