On Shiv Sena's 54th foundation day, Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray addressed the party leaders and officer bearers via videoconferencing to mark the occasion on Friday.

On the occasion MP Sanjay Raut said, Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray's dream of seeing Shiv Sainik as chief minister has come true with Uddhav Thackeray becoming the Chief Minister of the state, but we now want to see Uddhav Thackeray as the next prime minister. Now is the time to lead not only the state but also the country, said MP Sanjay Raut. He was speaking at the Shiv Sena's foundation day.

Speaking on the occasion, MP Sanjay Raut said, "Now is the time to cross the state border. Now is the time to lead the country,".

The leader also said that it is only because Uddhav Thackeray is the Chief Minister because of whom Maharashtra has been able to tackle the coronavirus crisis in the state.
