After a 60-year-old man died in the middle of the road in Thane waiting for an ambulance. In yet another shocking incident a pregnant women who failed to get an ambulance delivered a baby on road in Kisan Nagar 3 area of Thane West. The woman's husband tried to get an ambulance but the ambulance did not arrive.The woman started feeling labour pain in the midnight on Thursday and needed to be rushed to the hospital but ambulance did not arrive despite repeated efforts. So they tried to get a rickshaw but could not find one. Eventually, the woman gave birth to the child on the street.

The woman was rushed to the BMC hospital in Mulund after a policeman spotted the couple struggling to find transport. both the baby and the new mom are doing well.
