Uddhav Thackeray assures justice to Maratha community over quota issue

An event was organized at Mathadi Bhavan in APMC, Navi Mumbai on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Annasaheb Patil, the founder of Mathadi Association. 

On Friday Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray interacted with the Mathadi Workers Association through video conferencing. On this occasion, Thackeray assured that reservation will be given to the Maratha community. At the same time, the government is with the Maratha community over the reservation issue. The government is committed to bring justice to the Maratha community. Marathi people are going to win the battle for justice. Expert lawyers have been appointed for the court battle of Maratha reservation, said Uddhav Thackeray.

Besides, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was also present on the occasion. Fadnavis said, “Maratha reservation isn’t a subject on which BJP will play politics. We are committed to the reservations for the community. Whatever steps the government takes to ensure the continuity of the quota, the BJP will offer full support.”
