A 36 days old baby who had tested positive for Coronavirus, was cured and discharged from Sion Hospital in Mumbai.

After recovering from coronavirus, the doctors and health workers clapped for the newborn who defeated the deadly disease at Sion hospital in Mumbai. This is one positive case which gives some amount of hope that a person can recover from covid-19. 

According to reports, the baby had an infection from the mother. It is being seen as a positive news amidst all negative reports from the city. Maharashtra has reported maximum cases of coronavirus and the Mumbai is severely affected with highest number of cases because of the pandemic.

CM Uddhav Thackeray posted the video of the doctors and health workers clapped for the newborn on Twitter, "For people of Maharashtra, age is no bar when it comes to putting up a fight. 36 days old baby recovered from COVID-19 at Sion Hospital in Mumbai. Kudos to the team of Doctors, Nurses & Ward Boys".
