Who Is Mohammed Ayan Alias Tanveer? Amravati Sexual Exploitation Accused Allegedly Linked to Owaisi-Led AIMIM

Amravati man Mohammed Ayan alias Tanveer, who has been accused of sexual exploitation of multiple girls, including minors, is linked with the Asaduddin Owaisi-led All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) party. 

A video went viral on social media claiming Amravati accused Mohammed Ayan was on stage and attending a political rally where Owaisi was seen giving a speech. Further in the video, it can be seen that he's taking a certificate on the stage from AIMIM workers.

He received a letter from MIM’s Amravati leading minister, according to Republic World. However, most of these posts have now been deleted from his Instagram account.

However, LokmatTimes.com has not verified the viral clip of 0.57 seconds.

Ayan Sex Scandal 

19-year-old Mohammed Ayan, alias Tanveer, allegedly targeted about 180 girls. According to the police, he was sexually exploiting victims and blackmailing them by recording their obscene videos by engaging them physically. The accused has been sent for a police remand until April 21. 

Viral Obscene Videos Trigger Investigation

The case came to light after several obscene and intimate videos of Ayan surfaced on the internet, showing one man with different girls. Viral MMS clips sparked outrage among people, especially in Achalpur and Paratwada.

Victims were frightened to file a complaint. Initially, police registered a suo motu case and swiftly arrested the accused. 

350 Videos With 180 Girls 

BJP MP Dr Anil Bonde claimed that Ayan sexually exploited over 180 girls and recorded more than 350 videos, which suggested organised racket. Police have received complaints for at least seven victims, but expect more to come forward. MP Bonde has threatened to sit on protest outside if authorities fail to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the case.

WhatsApp and Snapchat 

As per the initial investigation, Ayan used social media platforms such as WhatsApp and Snapchat to befriend girls and gain their trust to lure them into a relationship. After forming a relationship with them, he allegedly made an obscene video of them, without their consent, and used them to blackmail victims and force exploitation. Some girls were reportedly taken to Mumbai and Pune.

Who Is Uzer Khan?

Police arrested the second accused, Uzer Khan, in the case, who used to download videos from the accused's mobile phone and later shared them on social media sites. Authorities confirmed that Khan is currently being interrogated and will be produced before the court in the sex scandal.
