A tragic incident was averted in Mumbai's Bhandup area after a parked BEST electric bus started rolling back on its own and struck a stall on the road. According to the information, the accident took place in Bhandup West on Sunday afternoon, April 19.
CCTV footage of a stall near the Bhandup Railway Station went viral on social media, which shows a parked electric bus rolling backwards and striking a nearby food stall. As per the Mid-Day report, the woman standing near the stall narrowly escaped at the last moment.

A driverless BEST bus number MH-01 CV 8736 was parked near the railway station in Bhandup, and began rolling backwards without a driver at the wheel, which has sparked panic among pedestrians in the area. However, no injuries or casualties have been reported in the incident.
