The Mumbai traffic police have issued a traffic advisory to the motorists to ensure smooth vehicular movement during the Maharashtra Budget Session 2025, i.e., from March 3 to 10. The advisory was issued so that motorists are aware of traffic restrictions that are placed during the budget session.

People travelling to the South Mumbai region should pay attention to the following restrictions outlined by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Pradnya Jedge:

  1. Ramnath Goenka Marg, from Sakhar Bhavan to its junction with Vidhan Bhavan, will be closed to vehicular movement.

  2. The pay-and-park facilities are closed on several roads across the city, including Jamanalal Bajaj Road, Dorabji Tata Road, Vinay K Shah Road, Ramnath Goenka Marg, and Vidhan Bhavan Road.

  3. The leaders attending the session will be allowed to park their vehicles on Free Press Journal and VV Rao Road.

  4. Emergency service vehicles such as fire brigade, ambulance, and police vehicles will be exempted from these restrictions.

The Maharashtra Budget Session is crucial, and to avoid any traffic woes, this advisory was issued. The traffic police will be monitoring the affected areas closely and have also advised motorists to take alternative routes.
