Mumbai's civic body announced the suspension of water supply for the next 24 hours in the southern parts of the city starting Wednesday, May 28. The body said it will replace an old water channel at Dockyard Road during this period. As per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the water cut will affect the A, B, and E wards of the city, and a 50% cut will also be witnessed in some areas.

The work to replace the water channel at Dockyard Road will be carried out at around 10 am today, May 28, until 10 am on Thursday, May 29. The civic body requests the Mumbaikars in the area to use water judiciously during this period.
