The suspicious death of four members of the Dokadia family from Mumbai’s Pydhonie area has now taken a shocking turn. Preliminary forensic tests have revealed that the vital organs of the deceased had turned green, deepening the mystery surrounding the deaths, according to ABP Majha report.
According to preliminary post-mortem findings, major organs, including the brain, heart and intestines, were found to have turned greenish in colour. Medical experts said such changes are not usually seen in cases of ordinary food poisoning. Doctors have indicated that when multiple organs show such changes simultaneously, it may point to exposure to a highly toxic substance, reported ABP Majha.
Another major revelation in the case is that traces of the drug morphine were allegedly found in the body of a family member, Abdullah, according to the report. Investigators are now trying to determine whether the deaths were caused by consuming watermelon or if there was another reason behind the incident.
According to reports, the Dokadia family consumed watermelon on the night of April 25. Soon afterwards, all four family members reportedly began suffering from vomiting, dizziness and severe stomach pain.
