The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) in Mumbai has forecasted a cloudy sky with the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by moderate to heavy rain in the city and suburbs on Monday. The maximum temperature is anticipated to be around 29 degrees Celsius.

An official from the Regional Meteorological Department in Mumbai informed that the southwest monsoon arrived in Mumbai on Sunday, two days ahead of the normal schedule, due to favourable conditions along the Maharashtra coast.

The relative humidity will be around 87%, and temperatures will fluctuate between 25 and 29 degrees Celsius, accompanied by mist. According to the forecast, the next 48 hours will see heavy rainfall in Mumbai.

In the last 24 hours, Mumbai City recorded 99.11 mm of rainfall, while the eastern and western suburbs recorded 61.29 mm and 73.78 mm, respectively.

Navi Mumbai will experience a similar weather pattern on Monday, with a cloudy sky and the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by moderate to heavy rain in the city and suburbs. However, the maximum temperature is expected to be 34 degrees Celsius.

High Tide and Low Tide Timings:

The high tide on Monday, June 10 is expected at 4.29 meters at 15:01 hours, while the low tide will be at 1.84 meters at 21:09 hours. Remember, tomorrow on June 11th, the high tide will occur at 3.54 meters at 02:38 hours, and the low tide will be at 1.24 meters at 08:22 hours.

"10 Jun, 8 am, towards city part Mumbai record more than 100 mm rainfall during night in past 12 hours as compared to suburbs which recorded in the range of 40 to 70 mm rainfall. Most of rain came from yesterday evening and so there could be difficulties for office going people," said  IMD Pune Scientist.
