The iconic Royal Opera House Mumbai came alive with harmony and inspiration as Sakhya 2025, presented by The Sound Space, showcased an evening of soul-stirring performances and transformative stories. This annual musical extravaganza celebrated the unifying power of music, fostering community spirit and spotlighting the resilience of young artists.

Co-founded by visionary sisters Kamakshi and Vishala Khurana, The Sound Space is committed to making music education accessible to all. The evening was marked by breathtaking performances, from the soulful Bihaag Sargam to the electrifying anthem Ek Jindari, along with a deeply moving collaboration featuring young artists from Delhi. Each act resonated with perseverance, creativity, and the power of inclusive music programs.

“Music possesses the extraordinary ability to heal, connect, and uplift. Through Sakhya, we not only celebrate musical brilliance but also the incredible journeys of our students, who express their stories through every note,” said Kamakshi Khurana, Co-Founder of The Sound Space.

Adding to this, Vishala Khurana, Co-Founder of The Sound Space, stated, “Sakhya is more than just a concert; it is a tribute to resilience, collaboration, and togetherness. Every child on this stage has a story of determination and growth, and music has been their voice of empowerment.”

Beyond its musical spectacle, Sakhya 2025 also served as a platform to highlight The Sound Space’s impactful social initiatives. The event welcomed distinguished guests from the fields of arts, education, and corporate leadership, who praised the exceptional talent and dedication displayed on stage. Their presence underscored the importance of collective efforts in fostering artistic growth and inclusivity.
