Central Railway Announces 24 Summer Special Trains Between CSMT and Adilabad
To accommodate the increased passenger traffic during the summer season, Central Railway will operate 24 summer special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Adilabad. These services are in addition to the 1,228 Summer Special trains announced earlier, which include 290 unreserved and 42 AC summer special trains.
As per Central Railway, Train No. 01011 will depart from CSMT Mumbai at 12:20 AM every Thursday from April 10 to June 26, 2025, and will reach Adilabad at 4:30 PM the following day. In the return direction, Train No. 01012 will leave Adilabad at 6:30 PM every Thursday during the same period and arrive at CSMT Mumbai at 12:20 PM the next day. There will be 12 services in each direction.
The train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Manmad, Aurangabad, Jalna, Partur, Selu, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudkhed, Bhokar, Himayatnagar, Sahasrakund, Bodhadi Bujrug, and Kinvat. Its composition will include four AC 2-Tier coaches, six AC 3-Tier coaches, four Sleeper Class coaches, four General Second Class coaches, one General Second Class cum Guard’s Brake Van, and one Generator Van.
Bookings for these special trains, which will run on special charges, will open on April 9, 2025, at all computerized reservation centers and on the IRCTC website at www.irctc.co.in.
