The Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court issued contempt notices to principal secretary of family welfare department of state, joint secretary of union minister of health and family welfare Gayatri Mishra and commissioner of Chandrapur Municipal Corporation Rajesh Mohite in case of pay commission benefit and ordered to file replies within six weeks. The case was heard by Justice Atul Chandurkar and Nitin Suryavanshi.

Meanwhile, they had filed petition in the high court to get benefits of 4th, 5th and 6th Pay Commissions. The high court had ordered government to take decision within three months on November 14, 2019. But this order was not followed.
