A petrol pump employee was critically injured after a violent attack by a group of six youths in Nagpur’s Kelwad locality on the Saoner-Sausar Highway. According to reports, the incident was triggered by a minor disagreement between the group and the worker, identified as Ravi Bangde. CCTV footage that surfaced online showed the youths reaching the petrol station on motorcycles before confronting the employee. What initially appeared to be a verbal altercation soon spiralled into a shocking act of violence. During the heated exchange, one of the accused allegedly took out a knife and stabbed Bangde from behind, leaving him severely wounded at the spot.
The disturbing visuals reportedly shared by The News Minute captured the employee crying out in pain and panic moments after the assault. The accused, along with the others present, allegedly escaped from the petrol pump immediately after carrying out the attack. As of now, the exact cause of the dispute has not been disclosed by officials. It is also unclear whether the police have formally registered a case in connection with the stabbing incident. The shocking attack has raised concerns among local residents, especially after the CCTV footage of the assault began circulating widely on social media platforms.
Following the incident, Ravi Bangde was rushed to Nagpur Medical College Hospital for urgent medical treatment. Reports stated that he suffered serious injuries and his condition remains critical. Meanwhile, another gruesome incident was recently reported in Mumbai, where a man allegedly murdered his wife’s suspected lover after inviting him home and serving him alcohol. Police said the accused later slit the victim’s throat in front of his wife, and he was arrested by the Aarey police within three hours. In a separate case in Andheri West, a 42-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by Amol Mahire, who was reportedly known to her and suspected her character, according to preliminary findings.
