Pauniker shines, takes four wickets

Batting first TOI scored 171 for six in 20 opvers. Opener Sandeep Dabhekar played an unbeaten knock of 77 in 51 ball hitting nine boundaries and two sixes. He was well supported by captain Piyush Patil (46). Manish Thakare (15) and Amit Paunikar (11) were other scorers.

In reply, Tarun Bharat were restricted to 109 for nine in 20 overs. Thanks to Paunikar who claimed four wickets, conceding 15 runs . Atul Pande also bowled well and captured three for 13.

For Tarun Bharat, openers Roshan Tamboli (31) and Dinesh Borkar (21) tried their best but in vain.

Vice president of Nagpur District Volleyball Association Sunil Hande distributed the man-of-the-match prize.
